Are you longing to try a new outdoor activity or go on an adventure but reluctant to do so because of cost and/or lack of experience? Do you wish you could camp or backpack with girlfriends but don't really know how to pitch a tent or start a fire? Are you looking to make a new friend or two? Then this is the group for you!

Bold Betties is a national adventure group for women with local chapters across the country. Our mission is to build empowered communities of women who encourage each other to take a running leap out of their comfort zones and discover their bold!

Each chapter hosts an assortment of exciting, local events designed to help you discover your BOLD! There might even be some weekend getaways, trips across the country, or even amazing international experiences!

Our Code of Conduct is a major part of our mission!

Hike and Cook Together!

Dripping Springs Campground

What goes great with hiking? Eating of course! Join us for the day at Dripping Springs Campground (sites 26 & 28) for a 6-mile hike (starts at 9:15) with a 2,995’ elevation gain and then we will cook some great recipes together that can be easily carried in backpacks without a lot of added weight. We will have a few different backpacking cook stoves for you to try out too! There is a $6 entry fee per car, so carpool if you can. AllTrails directions: I-15 to Hwy 79 (which turns into Temecula Pkwy); right on Dripping Springs Sta; sites 26 & 28. Breckenridge, CO: Ski and Snowboard Weekend - January 24-27, 2019

Here at Bold Betties we love the snow and we are ready to shred it up with you! Join us in 2019 for a weekend trip to Breckenridge where we'll make new friends, hit the slopes, and have a blast! If you're a beginner, we'll help you book some lessons; if you're a pro, you'll know where to go and we'll be there to high five you along the way! Don't want to ski or snowboard but want to tag along anyway? Girl, we got you! We'll carpool from Denver on Thursday, arriving with enough time to hit the slopes before a family style dinner is served Thursday night in our cozy AirBnB style accommodations. Friday morning we'll chow down on a filling breakfast and use the free shuttle to get us to the fun! Spend the day skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, or maybe just chilling by the fire with a book. You do you, boo! That night we'll meet back up for another family style dinner and talk about all of the details of the day. Saturday is for more shredding! Or reading, eating, napping, whatever suits you. Saturday night we'll grab dinner out on the town to get a feel of what Breckenridge has to offer. Sunday, we can ride some more if we choose, before saying our goodbyes to our new favorite snow friends and heading home with our stories to tell! Temecula to Vail Lake Overlook Hike

Let’s do this! This is a 7.9 mile with 1,578 foot elevation gain with beautiful views of the Temecula countryside. This hike is mostly on a dirt road. Take I-15 to Hwy 79, head east; left on De Portola Rd.; right on Los Alamitos Dr.; left on Santa Anita Dr.; Park in the Leoness Cellars parking lot or along the fence.
