What we're about

This group is for anyone interested in hiking, snowshoeing, backcountry navigation and orienteering, and rappelling. All levels are welcome. For hikes and snowshoe trips, dogs are welcome, you'll need your own showshoes. For rappelling it will be necessary for you to have some of your own gear: harness, helmet at a minimum. For orienteering you will need a compass with a bezel. For all trips, I'll provide a necessary gear list. I'm wilderness first aid certified and certified in advanced/rescue rappel. Ex Military welcome!!

There is so much to love and experience in the Bolton Backcountry. On trail, bushwacking off trail, I love it!Remember, there's no such thing as bad weather, there's only bad gear!!

The ability/exertion level of each outing will be tailored to the member with the least experience. Duration and exertion level of each outing can be modified during the event.

This group charges a $5 annual fee. The annual fee money will be used to pay the Meetup organizer fees and any extra will be reinvested back into the group to be used to buy gear for the group use. No fees until you participate in an event, so sign up today!
