What we're about

A Victoria book club for women of (almost) any age.

Do you love really good books? Do you love talking about those books over a hazy IPA or a quaffable Italian red? Are you discouraged by book clubs with apparently arbitrary age restrictions?

Then this is the book club for you.

Every month, we’ll read a (hopefully) great book, then meet at a local bar or pub to talk about it over bevvies and bites.

So as long as you’re a woman of legal drinking age, you are most welcome!

I’ll pick the first book or two to get us started but after that, we’ll be more democratic about it. (Though I have yet to figure out what being 'more democratic' will look like.) I'd like to try for a good mix of older, easier-to-find titles and some hot, new releases.

So let’s get this reading party started!
