What we're about

Do you have eclectic interests that span the globe and few people with whom to engage about your interests and ideas? Do you find yourself wondering why there are always wells in Murakami novels, or searching fruitlessly at your local bookstore for that seminal post-colonial novel, or watching your friends' eyes glaze over as you try to talk about Indonesian volcanic islands? This could be the book club for you. We will read unconventional, brilliant, international books--chosen by democratic process, or even already read--and discuss them over a delicious glass of wine.

Inaugural meeting: The Incarnations

Location visible to members

Hi everyone, We had several votes for the Incarnations, so let’s start our club with that. Let’s set our inaugural meeting a little over a month from now, on Thursday, 7 March. I’ll pick a location once I see where attendees will becoming from. Looking forward to meeting everyone and to a stimulating and exciting discussion of this fantastic book! https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/books/2014/aug/13/the-incarcations-susan-barker-review
