Good Friday Family Fun Day at the Spottiswoode Hotel.

Every year the Spottiswoode Hotel runs a Family Fun day hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Good Friday Appeal & The Royal Children's Hospital.

There will be a host of activities for all the family to enjoy. With fantastic support from the local company NPSS and Art Creations entertaining the little one's with craft fun, a jumping castle, activity packs to complete & so much more. . .

There will be plenty of great live music playing through out the day to keep the adults entertained and keep you dancing.

There will be different bands playing throughout the day and the great Dean & Carruthers will be playing from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Terry Dean and Gary Carruthers have been playing live music together for over 25 years!

They basically set the standard for what you can do with two voices, two guitars and loads of great songs. Their pub residencies during the 80s and 90s have become legendary throughout Melbourne, particularly the packed-out New Boundary Hotel which ran every Saturday night from 1985-1994.

Preferring spontaneity to a set list, D&C still sound fresh today even after thousands of pub gigs, weddings, parties, TV appearances and all kinds of functions.

Audiences also get to hear a variety of the finest quality musical instruments including acoustic, electric and lap steel guitars, mandolin, banjo, dobro and harmonica.

Suzanne has booked a table for 10. If there is more interest we can increase the booking but we need to know the numbers early.
