Dean & Carruthers at Club Altona

Come and join us for some Sunday afternoon music with your fellow Boomers at Club Altona with Dean & Carruthers.

Club Altona provides a friendly environment to relax and enjoy yourself.

The club offers an array of entertainment with an expansive bar and bistro for the enjoyment of both club members and visitors. The bistro will be closed but Pizzas will be available.

Club Altona is located in the centre of Altona’s sporting and entertainment hub, adjacent to the Altona Cricket, Tennis and Soccer Clubs.

The great Dean & Carruthers will be playing from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

Terry Dean and Gary Carruthers have been playing live music together for over 25 years!

They basically set the standard for what you can do with two voices, two guitars and loads of great songs. Their pub residencies during the 80s and 90s have become legendary throughout Melbourne, particularly the packed-out New Boundary Hotel which ran every Saturday night from 1985-1994.

Preferring spontaneity to a set list, D&C still sound fresh today even after thousands of pub gigs, weddings, parties, TV appearances and all kinds of functions.

Audiences also get to hear a variety of the finest quality musical instruments including acoustic, electric and lap steel guitars, mandolin, banjo, dobro and harmonica.
