Bootstrappers Breakfasts® are for founders of early stage technology startups. It is a chance to compare notes on operational, development, and business issues with peers. These breakfasts were designed for entrepreneurs to share ideas and leverage thoughts with other folks who are serious about growing their business.

Chicago Chapter is run by Travis Johnson the co-founder and CEO of foodjunky.com acquired by delivery.com. Travis's moderation style is inclusive and honest. He feels that sugar coating does founders an injustice and encourages deep discussion from everyone.

Our focus is on issues for growing a business, not on VC fundraising. We promote the bootstrap business model which can be used to grow a business to the point it is funadable by a VC.
