Kayaking in the beautiful Biscayne Bay in the company of fellow Borderlinkers is the right way to start a mellow Sunday morning.

Part I: Kayaking at Oleta Park - 9:00 AM

Oleta Park is Florida's largest urban park. We'll kayak on narrow river tributaries through beautiful mangrove forests before heading out towards Biscyane Bay.

We'll rendezvous at the bottom of the stairs of Blue Moon Rentals - about 1/2 mile in from Oleta's main entrance.

Recommended: hat, sunscreen, bathing suit, water, and plastic ziplock for any items (car keys, etc.) you may want to bring on the kayak.

Prepare to get wet. These are ocean kayaks with openings on the bottom where the water comes and goes.

You might want to bring a change of clothes for lunch (there are cold water showers if you'd like to refresh a bit).

Oleta Park entrance fee: $6.

Group discount kayak rental prices: $20/person for one and 1/2 hours on tandem kayak, $28 for single kayak. a.m.
