Join us for a fun evening of sipping wine and creating art with glowing microbes!

Using a rainbow of engineered bacteria you will craft living art in a petri dish!
Step 0: Spark your creativity with our agar art templates (emailed to you). You can sketch out your design and bring it to class.
Step 1: Paint with microbes and learn about biotechnology in our community lab space.
Step 2: Sit back and wait for the science to happen. Your microbe art will take a few days to develop and grow to full brightness. While you wait, the microbes will be hard at work making colors for your painting.
Step 3: Three- four days later, your microbe art will be ready for its premiere! We'll send you digital photos of your masterpiece, or you can stop by to see your art in person!
**You must be 21 years or older to attend this event. Ticket costs include complimentary wine, beer, seltzer, or other beverages.
