Take Over Asgard (Again!) to Talk Computational Biology
On December 10th at 5:30, your friends at BCBB will be catching up over beers and free food in the back private room of the Asgard. Come and join your colleagues for a night of comp bio shop talk and networking (did we mention the free food?).
Eleanor Howe from Diamond Age Data Science has generously provided us with a wide selection of free pub grub for the event. She and several consultants from Diamond Age will be at the event to talk about consulting in computational biology and bioinformatics. Come ask them what it's like to work with a consultant -- or what it's like to be one!
All computational biologists and bioinformaticians are welcome regardless of skill level, from lifelong hardcore Bayesian modelers to people who are starting to think about learning just enough programming to make science go faster. See old friends, mentors, students, and make new connections while sharing tales of comp bio triumph and woe over Asgard's wide selection of beers and pub food.
About Diamond Age Data Science
Diamond Age Data Science partners with fast-moving biotech and pharmaceutical companies to drive innovation through bioinformatics.
For startups, we can act as a one-stop shop — designing experiments, analyzing existing data (proprietary or public), and helping to answer scientific and strategic questions such as how to identify mechanisms of action or store complex datasets. Need something more tailored? We’ll collaborate to solve big bioinformatics challenges hand-in-hand. You can check out the details of what we do here: https://diamondage.com/services/.
Our eight-person team is mostly based in Boston and led by our founder, Eleanor Howe, a computational biologist and expert in transcriptional profiling and pathway analysis. We’re growing fast – come see if you’d like to join us!
