While the “digital industrial” movement may impact multiple industry verticals, it is often unclear how to define or bound the various value propositions, key players, and potential applications in this space. The Boston Digital Industrial Group was created with this in mind.
This meetup is for entrepreneurs and corporate innovators interested in the future of industrial applications for technology, including (but not limited to) IoT, AR/VR, edge computing, advanced manufacturing (including 3D printing), AI/ML, and end-to-end data integration. Industry verticals include but are not limited to manufacturing, oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceutical, aerospace, engineering & construction, transportation & logistics, automotive, etc.
We will host regular events with speakers covering a range of topics, including refining our understanding of what "digital industrial means," showcasing companies and demonstrating use cases, and exploring challenges and opportunities across the value chain. Each meetup will be based on a topic, with 4-6 short presentations from a mix of corporate players and startups. Additionally, every event will provide an opportunity to network with entrepreneurs, engineers, executives, startups and corporates in this emerging space.
