Details

Logistics and supply chain is a $1.5 trillion market, representing 10% of the US GDP.

It touches most parts of our lives, from the medicines that heal us to our coffee in the morning. The industry is being re-invented by a combination of technologies, including better and cheaper sensors which allow large volumes of data to be collected on what's actually happening, new machine learning algorithms for making sense of this data, and decentralizing technologies like blockchain and smart contracts that remove overhead and allow more intelligence and security at the edge.

Please join us at our next meetup where innovators from all over the global supply chain discuss what the future holds. Stay tuned for more updates!

Juan Huertas

Eximchain (https://www.eximchain.com/) - Co-Founder/ CTO

Eximchain is focused on bringing blockchain technology to Supply chain sourcing, logistics, and financing. Eximchain envisions a global supply chain where buyers can easily verify supplier reliability and reputation through information shared across a common ledger.

Ultimately Eximchain's goal is to allow companies to visualize their entire supply chains, build rules-based applications, and open the door for suppliers to have access to the credit they need to fulfill orders. Since 2015, Juan has been simultaneously working on Distributed Systems and privacy offerings on Blockchain whilst pursuing a degree in Computer Science at MIT.

His focus since 2016 has been Eximchain, where Mr. Huertas is leading the effort to deploy the first privacy-focused, enterprise-ready blockchain ecosystem to serve as a highway for the global supply chain.
