Abstract:
Across industry, the potential of data science is well recognized. It has lead to organizational change, recruiting drives and even talent wars. Despite this investment, the tools made available to data scientists are limited and often impair productivity.
The aim of this session is to envision a data science platform of tomorrow, to describe why it is needed and to explore how this might be realized.

Speaker Bio:
Michael Roche is an architect at Liberty Mutual and provides corporate direction across the areas of big data, cloud and data science enablement. He is passionate about technology and enjoys designing solutions that make our lives easier. He has created new initiatives and products everywhere that he has been employed and tutors computing and robotics through different community programs.
