Talk #1: Shapes of development with Gleb Bahmutov (@bahmutov (http://twitter.com/bahmutov))

A geometric shape is simple to remember and visualize concept, familiar to any child. In software development we have a few concepts with associated shapes: agile is shown as a spiral curve, waterfall as, well, a waterfall, etc. In this presentation I will show the shapes that describe other modern development approaches and architectural styles.

Gleb Bahmutov is JavaScript ninja, image processing expert (PhD in computer vision from Purdue University) and software quality fanatic (his blog http://glebbahmutov.com/blog/ is full of passionate screeds). During the day Gleb is making the web a better place as VP of Engineering at [Cypress.io]( https://www.cypress.io/ ). You can follow him and his work [@bahmutov (http://twitter.com/bahmutov)]( https://twitter.com/bahmutov ) and find the slides from conference presentations at https://slides.com/bahmutov.

Talk #2: Chat Bots + IRL Bots with Suz Hinton (@noopkat (http://twitter.com/noopkat))

Bots in the physical space and bots in the virtual space don't commonly get to talk to each other. What happens when you combine real life robots with online chat/SMS bots? Come find out as we share several examples of using chat bots to punch through to reality, sometimes with hilarious results. This is a talk for those who want to take their bots further, and spark their imagination while doing so.

Suz Hinton is a Technical Evangelist at Microsoft. She’s an avid open source contributor, writing and collaborating on libraries related to topics such as NodeJS robotics, accessibility, and creative coding. When she’s not coding, she’s probably making more coffee.

Talk #3: Chatbot Prototyping with NodeJS and Microsoft's Bot Framework with Linus Falck-Ytter (@lifayt (http://twitter.com/lifayt))

NodeJS & Microsoft’s recent cloud offerings allows for rapid prototyping of chatbot apps. New AI services allow you to quickly synthesize content and couple it with commercial strength natural language processing to provide functionality that small development teams can't afford to custom develop.

Linus grew up splitting time between Germany & the United States before his family made an exciting life decision by settling in Cleveland, Ohio. He has a degree in Computer Science from 'The' Ohio State University and now lives in Waltham with his roommate & cat.
