What we're about

This group is for people who like to become more active and healthy using nature as the outdoor gym, and looking for activity partners with same fitness level to keep them on track, and form friendships based on mutual interests.

Get healthy first, then lose weight. We'll be sharing some health and weight loss tips and resources with people who sign up for the events.

Events on this group will NOT be posted too far in advance, they might be posted few days prior, same day , or few hours before the event. Please keep an eye on your email.

Activities include but not limited to :

A- Walking the emerald necklace, Charles river, in the city, the Freedom trail, to the common, to the public garden, anywhere walkable.
B- Aerobic and resistance training, interval jogging/walking.
C- Biking.
D- Close distance hiking to the Blue hills or Middlesex fells,
E- Picnic : We could walk up to our destination and have a picnic, play some games.
F- Dancing: we could have outdoor dancing/zumba.

G- Yoga.

Some activities sometimes would be women only. Sometimes they would be mixed of all genders.

Basic rules:

1- For safety reasons: your profile photo must be recent, showing clear face, no sunglasses, masks or any obstacles.

2- Questions set by the organizers must be answered. Please Answers your profile questions.

3- Inactive members of 90 days or more will be removed.

4- When signing for the event please intend to complete it with group; accountability is very important.

5- 3 no shows per member will lock you out of the group.

6- No guests permitted, no dogs allowed on events.

7- Cancelation: it depends on the activity , for example at least 30 minutes before walking activity.

8- No music or any audio at the event, unless it is part of the event structure.

9- As a member, if you are having any issue, please let me know DIRECTLY before spreading them widely; misunderstanding could easily happen, let's communicate clearly and have peaceful encounters.

WE'LL BE FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING: NO MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE PER EVENT, AND MASKS MUST BE ON WHEN LESS THAN 6 FEET DISTANCE FROM OTHERS.
