===================
Submit your title and abstract (max 140 characters) to have your lightning talk considered. Deadline is October 2nd so send them in now
to bostonbioc@gmail.com
We will follow the excellent format (and rules) of the Boston-Computational-Biology-and-Bioinformatics-Meetup
Ground rules for abstracts:
- All of our members are welcome to submit abstracts. Academia, industry, government, non-profit, all are welcome to present. All levels of experience including those new to R/Bioconductor, trainees, students, graduate, and postdocs are welcome to present.
- We're looking for general interest presentations, not product pitches. If your work revolves around a particular platform and you used it for an interesting application that revealed novel scientific endpoints, that's okay. But in that case let's focus on the science, not the platform.
- Talks are strictly 5 minutes each, enforced by group consensus and a liberal distribution of humorous noise-making devices throughout the audience. (The organizers reserve the right to alter the 5-minute criteria up or down by a few minutes depending on how many abstracts we receive).
- Abstract (max140 Characters) deadline is October 2nd..... it's only 140 characters, so just send it now to bostonbioc@gmail.com
