What's New in '22 - Andy Barnes and Mark Martel, DS SOLIDWORKS
Watch an overview of all the new feature enhancements in SOLIDWORKS® 2022 that will improve your every-day workflows for design, documentation, data management, validation, and more. Get more done in less time with performance improvements when working with large assemblies, imported geometry, and your product data. Experience the freedom of our fastest graphics to date with improved display response and quality.

Mark joined a Boston based value added reseller in 1996 as the first application engineer supporting, presenting, and training SOLIDWORKS. In 2003 he joined SOLIDWORKS Corporation as part of the technical sales group responsible for evangelizing the entire SOLIDWORKS product suite. Currently Mark has focused his attention on the 3DEXPERIENCE Works Portfolio and how SOLIDWORKS customers are able to benefit from it’s capabilities.

SOLIDWORKS Pub Trivia - Dan Wagner, SOLIDWORKS Community Mastermind
Think you know it all about SOLIDWORKS features, tips and history? We'll put you to the test. Teams of up to 4 can compete in fast-paced rounds of SolidWorks trivia for prizes donated by our sponsors, plus the honorary title of SolidWorks Guru. You might even learn something along the way.

A Design Review Connected to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform - Chris Mowatt, Elite AE, Trimech
This presentation will demystify how the 3DExperience Platform can be used to manage files on the cloud from SOLIDWORKS Desktop. You'll hear a story about two engineers who are working remotely and need to perform a design review. Their challenge is that they don't have VPN capabilities or a PDM system to easily collaborate with each other. Check out how they easily solve this problem by getting 'connected' to the 3DExperience Platform.

Chris is a long time contributor to the BostonSWUG, including redesigning the group's logo. He is an Elite Application Engineer who started working for the SOLIDWORKS VAR, CAPINC, in 2014. Now with TriMech, he has become a specialist in multiple SOLIDWORKS products. Chris lives in Boston with his wife who works at Mass General Hospital and enjoys escaping the city to the White Mountains.

*SOLIDWORKS Product Definition/User Experience Breakout Session - Kevin Berni, R&D User Experience Design Senior Manager
The SOLIDWORKS user experience team is looking for a few brave volunteers to test previously unseen conceptual features of SOLIDWORKS products. Attendees of these breakout sessions will join the SOLIDWORKS Product Definition and User Experience teams to provide live feedback as they Alpha Test future releases of SOLIDWORKS, still in development. NDAs may be required.
