Trips will be hosted by Globe Drifters and you can see the details of our trips at www.globe-drifters.com. Most of our trips consist of solo travelers and it is always better to have someone to travel with so why not join in!

IMPORTANT: There is not a one-time "Meetup Event." Multiple Food Rescue Events occur daily throughout the Greater Boston Area and beyond. Please see details and sign up instructions below. Food insecurity has risen 300% in Massachusetts, yet 40% of food is thrown out. Rescuing Leftover Cuisine bridges the gap between excess food and the people who need it through our network of volunteers and the use of technology. FOOD RESCUERS NEEDED! Volunteer with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine Massachusetts (RLCMA) to transport excess food and meals prepared specifically for donation from businesses to human service agencies, permanent housing residents and students' families who are experiencing food insecurity. - All ages welcome! - Eligibility and safety guidelines have been put in place for everyone's safety. - Volunteer individually or as a team! Invite your family, friends, co-workers, etc. to help you help people! - Sign up for Rescue Events in East Boston, Chelsea, Everett and throughout the Greater Boston Area and Middlesex County. - Rescue Events take place 24/7. All you need is a standard size vehicle, kindness and a smile! - An average event provides 35 healthy meals for people in need and takes about an hour!
