VR/AR Hack Day

Details
Come join us for a whole day of techno-frolic with the other BostonVR devs at Brookline Interactive Group (BIG) (http://brooklineinteractive.org/) under the auspices of their Public VR Lab (http://publicvrlab.com/) project, a truly excellent resource for the community. Click here (http://brooklineinteractive.org/location-and-hours/) for directions.
There will be no agenda, just free-form hacking. Bring your own equipment if you have it, but mainly bring yourself! The $6 charge will go to pay for pizza or some other kind of lunch that day, as well as snacks and lots of coffee!
HoloLens and Vive Testing and Development
We'll have 2 HoloLenses at this event to test and develop on, brought to us by the BostonAR Public Meetup Group (https://www.meetup.com/BostonAR/). This is a great opportunity to learn more about Augmented Reality and try testing out new projects or experiments on Windows Holographic and Unity. We will also have access to two Vive systems at BIG.
Introduction to 3D Graphics with Doug Turner
Elastic Image Software will be offering a tutorial on the essential elements of 3D graphics for users of Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, 3ds Max, and other 3D authoring tools. Doug Turner will unpack the key concepts all devs must know in order to be as productive as possible and get the most out of these tools. He'll combine live demos of 3D desktop and mobile apps. Regardless of whether you are a newbie or a ninja, there'll something for everybody with plenty of opportunity for Q&A and in general be a fun and highly accessible class.
The class will run from 10am to noon, giving you the rest of the day to practice the new skills that you learn!
