AR for the Operating Room & DICOM VR

Details

Molly Flexman of Philips will present how augmented reality can influence the future of healthcare by transforming the operating room. She and her colleagues will discuss how AR wearables can address key clinical challenges, describe some recent examples of AR in the OR, and will share their AR application for image-guided therapy developed within Philips Research. A live demonstration of their technology will be shown on the Hololens.

Also, Christopher Williams will demonstrate the VR tool that he and Konstantin Kovtun developed for navigating 3D CAT scan data using two linked HTC Vives!
