What we're about
The Boston Goddess Circle honors the Goddess in her diverse ancient wisdom traditions of Native American, African, Wiccan, Hindu, Buddhist and other healing traditions. We are non-denominational and all are welcome.
The Boston Goddess Circle is also in transition! We have a brand new organizer - Amanda! That's me, so I'll stop writing about myself in third person now. I think I am the fourth organizer of this group, and I am happy to have had the pleasure of knowing the last two. Each time the organizer changes, the direction of the group changes a bit too, so I'm posting here my inaugural thoughts about this next chapter. I'm excited to be taking the lead of such a great group!
First, I'll be looking for people to be a part of a small leadership team, so that setting the direction of the group can be a collaborative endeavor.
Second, this group truly is diverse, and I hope we can honor that. I'm a cis white woman who practices witchcraft largely shaped by celtic and other anglo traditions. I am excited to have members of other traditions, ethnicities, and genders have honored voices in this MeetUp, so that we can offer truly diverse experiences to the community.
Third, feminism has always been an important theme running through this MeetUp. I'd like to formally make it a part of our goals and values as a community to strive toward the ideals of intersectional feminism, so that we can more deeply honor the diversity of this group and of our world.
If any of this rings true for you, and you want to be a part of shaping this MeetUp, please message me!
In the meantime, I'm hosting the following gatherings:
