Why did you join this group?

Well, I enjoy anime and as I don't know anyone in the area, I've been joining meetups of similar interests that I hold. Plus it has a free tour of the place I'll be working at starting Monday. 0.o

What is your favorite Anime, Japanese Film, or Manga? Why?

Fruits Basket as I feel it has many great life lessons and touching stories.

What would you like to see or do with this meetup group? What would you watch? Where would you go? Etc.

Don't know.

How often do you watch/read Anime, Japanese films, and/or Manga?

Several times a week.

Tell us a random fact about you or a comical story.

My first anime was "Sailor Moon" that I saw every episode that aired on Cartoon Network (blew my mind that there could be "cartoons" that actually had real stories that progressed over time). Was quite into their Toonami block and even recorded all 49 episodes of Gundam Wing onto VHS tapes as they were shown. Such a shame that TV programming block no longer exists.

Long time anime fan. Software Engineer (previously at Boston Public Library, now at Akamai). Beyond anime, generally play games (board/card/video), play tennis, attend theater performances, develop mobile games, and do things like kayaking.
