Now in its 17th year, Pie in the Sky is the yearly fundraiser for Community Servings, a non-profit organization that prepares and delivers free, nutritious, home-delivered meals to individuals and families battling HIV/AIDS, cancer, Lupus, MS and other acute, life-threatening illnesses. Each day Community Servings serve 725 clients in 16 cities and towns across 200 square-miles in Eastern Massachusetts. Those too sick to shop or cook for themselves or their families are able to have nutritious meals delivered directly to their door along with a smiling face—and the message that someone cares.

Thousands of pies are donated each year by hundreds of Greater Boston’s favorite bakers, restaurants and caterers. Choose from Apple, Pecan, Pumpkin, and Sweet Potato pies. Each pie is just $25 and the pie you buy for your family will provide a week’s worth of nutritious, home-delivered meals for a Community Servings client.

Pies can be picked up on the day before Thanksgiving at 45 locations throughout Boston and the surrounding suburbs.

Visit Community Servings or feel free to email me with any questions you might have.

Thanks so much for your support of this very worthy cause!
