I am a working dad, and while I spend my days building cool stuff, I rarely get the time to build cool stuff with my son. I want a monthly excuse to build cool stuff with my kid, learn something I didn't know, and practice teaching my son STEM skills with a different guest professor every month. You don't need to be a full-time developers but it may be helpful to have a some familiarity with code. Here are some examples of upcoming topics: - Build-a-computer - Solar-powered Bots - Programming w/ Potatos - Photography for kids All ages welcome, though the content is most suitable for kids 6 - 10. All attendees for the first two meetups will leave with a packed lunch for their kids the next day! Sponsored by Twilio.
