We are starting the year off by taking a look at a technology we haven't talked about at our meetup before: Riak. Riak is a very interesting distributed database that is getting a lot of attention these days and is being used at companies including Comcast and Yammer. Come and join us for our first meetup of the new year and learn about a key value store.

Join members of the @Basho team as we give a technical Introduction to Riak including:
*Good and bad use cases for Riak *Some user stories of note *Riak's architecture: consistent hashing, hinted handoff, replication, gossip protocol and more *APIs and client libraries *Features for searching and aggregating data: Riak Search, Secondary Indexes and Map Reduce *What's new in the latest version of Riak
