Curt Gowdy State Park is 30 minutes west of Cheyenne, and has some amazing riding. They have been creating new trails, and in particular Gold Watch and Gold Standard are mind blowing. The trails are full of features, play areas, and alternate lines (black). Huge rocks, rock faces, and crazy rock formations make it a treat. If the water is running Hidden Falls is a great place to cool off.

The riding here is for the strong intermediate rider. With trail names like Ignoramus, Pin Ball, Mo Rocka, Stone Temple, and Rock N Rolla, cmon!!

Camping at the State Park is full, but there is dispersed camping nearby. I will find a spot. Post in comments if you want to camp or car pool. Car pooling is recommended as entry is $ per car.

Paddle boarding is available on the lakes and fishing is good for family who aren't riding.

Directions:
I25 to Cheyenne, exit 10D for Happy Jack Road west.
Follow Happy Jack rd. for about 20 miles, look for the lakes and park entrance on the south side.
Meet at the Stone Temple trailhead, first road to the right past the fee station.
