What we're about

Boulder Progressives was formed by a group of over forty people from around Boulder city and county representing a broad range of citizens concerned that the voice of the people was being lost to the demands and debate of the more affluent political class that has long dominated Boulder local politics and leadership.

Our aim is to build a grassroots coalition that cannot be ignored, that will elect leaders that are genuinely vested in representing all of Boulder’s citizens, and that will hold our elected officials accountable.

Upcoming events (5+)

Boulder Progressives Happy Hour at License No. 1!

Are you feeling the need to connect with some like-minded individuals concerned about Boulder's current position on housing, transportation, homelessness, flood mitigation and more but not interested in sitting through some stuffy meet up or city meeting to do so? Curious whether you align with other progressives in the Boulder area but you're not ready to totally dive in and commit to volunteering? Please join us on the first Saturday of each month at License 1 (under the Boulderado Hotel) for a casual happy hour with friends as we look forward to and share ideas, concerns and possible solutions facing Boulder's next local election. Connect with current, past, and possible City Council members, current volunteers, community members and the like over appetizers and a beverage! Organized by the working class members and small business owners of Boulder, we understand the challenges facing our future here and believe #togetherwecan make the changes Boulder needs to be a just and equitable place for all!

Boulder Progressives Morning Meetup at The Rayback!

Rayback Collective

Boulder... can we talk? Do you feel like your voice isn't represented or being heard in Boulder? Are you wondering what is happening with housing, transportation, open space, the trails or other issues around town and haven't really found a way to get what you need? Are you interested in being more connected or getting involved with people that also want to see a change? Do you get coffee or tea every morning anyway and would love to meet other like-minded individuals? Please join us next each month on the third Thursday at Rayback for our Morning Meetup as we count down to Boulder's next election. Connect with current, past, and possible City Council members, discuss issues affecting our town, learn how to get involved and share your story! We are listening and believe #togetherwecan be and make the change Boulder needs to be a just and equitable place for all!
