  • Bio: Shane J. Schvaneveldt is Professor of Supply Chain Management at Weber State University, Ogden UT,
    -- where he teaches and researches in the areas of quality, operations, supply chain and environmental sustainability.
    -- He is a member leader in the ASQ Golden Spike Section, and has served as an Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and on ASQ's Certification Board CQPA Subcommittee.
    -- His 100+ publications/presentations include articles in Quality Progress
    -- and presentations at ASQ's World Conference on Quality and Improvement (WCQI) and the International Conference on Quality (ICQ).
    -- He holds a PhD in operations and quality management from Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan), where he studied under two Deming Prize recipients.
