Do you like to hike, backcountry ski, snowshoe and explore the outdoors? Are you 40+, single, fit, but looking for an outdoors oriented group with more advanced, strenuous activities geared toward those with a mid to high level of fitness?
This group’s goal is to provide opportunities for fit, very active 40+ single outdoor enthusiasts to meet others with similar interests. Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to breathe hard while exploring the outdoors with other singles.
Most events consist of 3 to 4+ hours of strenuous activity, some longer and some with significant (>2k) elevation gain.
Examples of possible trips:
Hike from Moffat Tunnel to Forest Lakes (~7.5miles w/ 1,750’ elevation gain) or Clayton/Iceberg Lakes (~8.5 miles w/ 2,500’ elevation gain)
Hike to Arapahoe Glacier and climb South Arapaho Peak (13er, ~8.6 miles w/ 3,500’ elevation gain)
Climb Mt. Audubon (13er), perhaps over to Paiute Peak (Class2/3)
Winter/Spring Ski from Brainard Lake (winter parking lot) to Blue Lake
