Trailhead location: Mt. Shavano and Tabeguache Peak Trailhead, Coordinates: 38°35'50.3"N 106°11'46.2"W

There are lots of camping spots near the trailhead. I’ll either camp or stay in a nearby town.
We'll meet at the trailhead at 6:00am and will start hiking at 6:15am.

Make sure to bring water, snacks, warm layers, gloves and microspikes.

Bad weather (rain, high winds) postpones/cancels.

Disclaimer:
By attending this hike, you assume all responsibility for your own safety. Mountaineering in Colorado can be very dangerous. Altitude sickness, dehydration, and fast-building storms are the most common problems. Please be in shape and self-sufficient.
