Have Fun on the Slopes and Raise Funds to Help in the Fight Against Lou Gehrig’s Disease!
Please join The ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter for the 1st Annual Ski To Defeat ALS on February 23rd at Eldora Mountain Resort, benefiting patients and their families affected by Lou Gehrig’s disease. Each registered participant will be given an exclusive lift ticket, meals, non-alcoholic beverages, entertainment - and so much more! All participants will have full access to the slopes and can take 2 runs or 200 runs - it's your choice. The day will conclude with a celebration, silent auction, and awards ceremony in which prizes will be awarded to the Top Fundraising individual and team, as well as to the individual and team with the Best Costume! Form a team with your friends, family or co-workers and join us on the slopes for an awesome day of skiing to help fight against this horrible disease! - $150 fundraising minimum is required-Don’t let this number scare you! Once registered, and ALS staff member will contact you to help you get started on reaching that goal J
- The first 25 people to raise $200 ($50 over the minimum) receive an awesome Ski to Defeat ALS sweatshirt! ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s disease) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that slowly robs a person of the ability to walk, speak, swallow and eventually, breathe. At this point, it is a 100% fatal disease and once diagnosed, a person can expect to live only 2-5 years. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON THE SLOPES!
