Creating effective dashboards and pitfalls to avoid

William Andrus

Having an efficient dashboard with comprehensive visualizations is vital for users to quickly assess the status and performance of the situation so that they can achieve their objective and analysis more quickly. Creating dashboards is not something that should haphazardly be created, and should be planned out with specific objectives and metrics in mind. This presentation will go over many of the potential pitfalls and problems with designing dashboards and visualizations that need to be avoided.

William is a Data Engineering Consultant for Datalere where he leverages his experience to craft effective visualizations and dashboards. In addition to developing dashboards that tell a story, he is deeply involved in wrangling data and developing scalable applications.
