Banks are not lending, Angels are hard to find and VCs are moving upstream into later stage deals. This is a problem for our economy and job growth.

The truth is Colorado businesses need more access to capital. One of the biggest challenges is that it takes a long time to network to find investors. Depending on your exemption they can only be accredited investors or what most people call angels.

This is important, you could literally place an ad in the Denver Post asking people to attend a presentation where every person in the room could legally invest if they are a CO resident!

This is the intent of the JOBS Act and crowdfunding, however this will not be available until next year at the earliest.
