In celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day, join us for a free program that will examine how climate change is impacting forests in the West featuring New York Times science writer and author Jim Robbins. Robbins, the author of the recent book The Man Who Planted Trees, will discuss the essential role that trees play as the planet’s filter system, as critical medicine to wildlife, and why trees are an ‘ecotechnology’ that can restore damaged ecosystems and help the planet adapt to a changing climate.

Following the presentation a panel of regional scientists will discuss the impacts of climate change on the forests and wildlife of the Yellowstone ecosystem.
