VR & MR | Designing for the New Reality

Details

For years, designers and developers have taken the humble screen, or rectangle for granted. On the desk, in your pocket and even on your wrist. But these technologies are fundamentally approached in the same manner - to define and design within finite constraints.

Kharis O'Connell, Head of Product at the virtual reality studio Archiact will dig deep into some of the hardest design and technology challenges we have seen yet. We'll look at what happens when 'rectangles' no longer exist, as well as the ethics of VR and MR. Never before have we had such viscerally-impactful technology at our disposal – are we ready to accept the responsibilities that come with inventing this mind-blowing ‘New Reality’?
