For our next meeting, we'll be having a "book exchange" dinner - please bring a book that you've enjoyed reading, and be prepared to describe it to the group. This is a great way to see what others are reading, and get new ideas and recommendations for books to read!
This book is about how the AIDS epidemic started in the US. It follows the personal stories of scientists, patients, government officials, and other people who influenced - or were influenced by- the course of the epidemic. There's a wonderful documentary about it too.. Here's the wiki link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/And_the_Band_Played_On
