Enjoy Christmas Lights at Big Cedar Lodge 5K Trail

Location visible to members

Let’s end 2020 with a walk to see holiday lights! We’ll start at 4:00 pm and walk first the non-lit cabin area, loop back and arrive around sunset to view lights. There will be lake, sunset, and light views! This is a Sunday hike! Big Cedar Lodge 5K Trail (about 3 miles) is a paved trail with views of Table Rock Lake. There are a few steep and gentle climbs. Feel free to bring walking sticks. We’ll meet outside in front of the Buzzard Bar. How to get there: From Highway 86 look for “Big Cedar Lodge” sign and then look for Devil Pool’s Road and turn into this road. Next, turn into Ravine Drive. There is only one way to turn into these roads. Follow sign to “Devil Pool Marina Cabins,” go past ice skating rink which will be on the right, drive over water crossing, veer right, follow “Devil’s Pool” sign, turn right before covered bridge for parking. Buzzard Bar has parking at the side, down the hill. Your dog on a leash is welcome to celebrate lights with us. Bring what you may need such as water, hat, walking sticks, gloves, etc. To exit the lodge grounds, follow “Exit” signs. Whether you follow the short or long way, both will exit at Highway 86.
