Let’s walk the nature trails around Branson, enjoy the outdoors, get some fresh air, socialize, and occasionally go eat after walking.

Please Note: Walking and hiking may have possible dangers, not limited to, and including irregular/slippery trails, poison ivy, ticks, bug bites/stings, snakes, cuts, falls, allergies, distractions, muscle cramps, sunburns, and getting lost.

By walking, hiking, kayaking, eating out, and participating in other activities with this group, you acknowledge these possible dangers and agree to be accountable for your own safety.

Landing Boardwalk, North Beach Park, Lakeside RV Park

White River Fish House

We’ll start walk in front of White River Fish House restaurant at the sidewalk, continue to North Beach Park and then to the bridge behind Qdoba, turn around, walk back to Fish House and continue to Branson Lakeside RV Park where we can take a break at docks on Lake Taneycomo. From there walk again to bridge behind Qdoba and go back to Fish House where we can eat lunch for anyone interested. Distance from Fish House restaurant to bridge and back is about 2 miles. We’ll repeat, for a total of approximately 4 miles. If you wish not to walk but meet us for lunch you can post message you’re joining us. We’ll be at restaurant between 11:30 - noon. Your dogs on a leash are welcome to walk with us. Lakeshore Trail in October!

Location visible to members

We'll start the walk from State Park Marina. The paved trail is mostly level with a few gentle slopes. We'll walk to Dewey Short Visitor Center for 2.2 miles, rest, and then turn back around and return to State Park Marina for another 2.2 miles. Total 4.4 miles. Afterwards, for anyone interested, let's eat at the shaded dock or any other suggestions from attendees! See photo of menu below! If you don't wish to walk and would rather just meet the group for lunch, post message you’re joining us and we'll post message where lunch will be located and what time. If no lunch, this will be posted. There are restrooms at State Park Marina and Dewey Short Visitor Center. Your dogs on a leash are welcome to walk with us!
