Have you always wanted to be a "real" photographer? Well, then you need to start by knowing how to expose photos properly, and the one camera mode you need to master is MA NUAL, where YOU set the ISO, shutter speed and aperture of your camera.
In this workshop you will learn how to do that. You will also learn about light metering, high key vs low key, doing it without a meter (the "sunny sixteen rule"), the three secret flash recipes, appropriate shutter speeds and apertures, good ISO starting speeds, and much more. And if you are unsure what all these terms mean, you will learn *that* as well.
Michael, a full-time pro who teaches photography at Sheridan College and privately, will also check your camera settings to make sure they are optimal. Both for Canon and Nikon, Michael has some secret settings that will make your photography easier.
This workshop is limited to a maximum of 8 people. Please bring your camera - a DSLR or any other camera that has manual controls, allowing you to set aperture and shutter speeds.
This workshop normally costs $99, but for members of this Meetup the cost is just $50. And it includes a secret gift you will benefit from throughout your photographic career!
