What we're about

This group is for anyone interested wellness with the focus on expanding and evolving through non-judgmental support of yourself and others. Americans spend way too much time working, working at everything. Bridge to Health offers natural evolution of self as the only true way we grow, learn and evolve as opposed to the usual...I must, do this, do that...change, be better, be more disciplined...blah blah blah!

We are more able to realize our potential when we put ourselves in the company of others who support our unfolding. We seek to FOSTER growth rather than FORCE it! Intentions over resolutions!

Meetups in 2020 will targeting Chi Nei Tsang and Chi Kung practice as highly supportive in connecting to the maskless, true self. PlayShops / Creativity Awareness adventures in creativity through collage, drawing and doodling as a powerful brain stimulating and healing tool. We are aiming to create an onsite temporary labyrinth sometime in 2020 with labyrinth builder Holly Bendz, long term goal to find a place for a permanent labyrinth! Also, Deliana Brown, founder of Juice on the Loose AZ, will be making an appearance at our Spring Clean Detox Kick-off! And in the fall we hope to sponsor a 1 day Chi Nei Tsang Detox your Energy experience with Chi Nei Tsang and Chi Kung Practitioner Janine Walter! So much to look forward to in 2020!

We will be also be welcoming other practitioners to share with the group on our Monthly Chi Nei Tsang Learn and Share & Creativity Awareness Meetups. This year we will learn more about acupuncture- what it is, how it works, how it feels, kundalini yoga - awakening the spine, breath work as a meditation tool, myofascial release for chronic pain healing, sound healing for everyday, the power of live foods, detoxification as a support to gut health and emotional stability and more....

AT THIS MONTH'S MEET-UP: IRON SHIRT CHI KUNG, EXPLORING WHAT THIS IS AND HOW TO PRACTICE IT PROPERLY! Join us for an evening of sharing Chi Nei Tsang or applied Chi Kung. This powerful ancient modality improves health and wellbeing! Regular practice of Chi Kung becomes a fountain of grounded calm energy that creates it's own level of mindfulness, naturally! IRON SHIRT CHI KUNG LEARN MORE, https://healingtaousa.com/articles/the-gentle-easy-way-to-pack-your-iron-shirt/ Iron shirt Chi Kung is an advanced practice which we are only going to explore. The long term goal of Iron Shirt practice is to create more room in our energy body for internal chi to circulate during meditation. As with kundalini this form of Chi Kung is often misused or improperly practiced. David Goldeen, LMT, BCTMB whose body work specialty is myofascial release will be sharing his extensive understanding of fascial tissues which are a focus of many of the Iron Shirt Chi Kung exercises. Opening fascial tissue for improved circulation of chi is crucial to healing and personal energy empowerment. LEARN MORE: http://www.goldeenmfr.com/bio.html http://www.goldeenmfr.com/mfr-explained.html Chi Nei Tsang Therapy (pronounced, chee nayt song) consists of abdominal techniques coordinated with focused breathing to "unwind" excess or stagnant energy in the belly and the internal organs within. Unwinding the belly encourages the elimination of toxic accumulations, restores organs to their optimal position, improves digestion, elimination and stimulates lymphatic and circulatory systems. Consistent treatment cultivates greater awareness, clarity of mind, vitality and enthusiasm. This modality offers benefits for a wide variety of complaints. I am excited to share this powerful modality with my clients, Meet-up members and other therapists and medical practitioners. The importance of the belly’s role in health and wellbeing has eluded most Westerners. Research of gastroenterologist, Michael Gershon, M.D. at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center confirms that the intestines have more neural cells capable of both feeling and memory than our spinal column. He refers to the “gut” as the second or abdominal brain. Taoists monks and practitioners have recognized this truth for thousands of years. They discovered the most effective method to holistically transform a person’s health came from working directly on the abdominal area while simultaneously transmitting chi or life force. Wear soft, loose fitting clothing as we will be working on ourselves or on each other. Those who wish may observe only, no pressure. I will be sharing the basic Chi Nei Tsang and Chi Kung techniques and meditations at each Chi Nei Tsang Learn and Share Meet-up! You may feel free to bring yoga mats, bolsters, pillows and blankets which may prove useful during the Meetup. Additionally I am in training to achieve a Chi Nei Tsang Practitioner Certification. In order to complete my Level 1 Certification I will need to complete a number of case studies. Those who attend will have an opportunity to have a free 1/2 hour session. Helps me, helps you!
