Tours typically start around 7pm. No alcohol. Feel free to bring snacks to share. Check out the equipment and meet the people. Children 5yrs+ allowed with close supervision. Free.

Wood Shop Introduction

Come learn the basics of our Wood Shop. Learn about our wood working power tools and how to use them safely. Would you like to know how to operate our miter saw, table saw and other tools? If so, this is the event for you. This is an ongoing educational event. An instructor will be available one Thursday evenings of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm to help you learn the basics in the Woodshop. Do you want to learn how to use the Wood Shop to make gifts for a loved one? Do you want to learn how to operate the miter saw to make the picture frame you found on Pintrest? Do you want to make your own stool? If so, this is the event for you to come learn these basic skills and many more. Membership Requirement: Members (non-members may look on) Members Cost: Free Class Type: Hands on Safety Checkoff and Introduction Class frequency: Monthly Material Cost: None Safety Equipment: Safety glasses, earing protection and dust mask *Our instructors are donating their time to teach these events. Please be respectful of their time and understanding in the event two or more attendees are present at the same time learning new skills. 3D Printing Instruction

Come learn the basics of how to use our 3D printers. Learn what it takes to create a printable 3D file, how to prepare the file for printing, and how to operate the 3D printer. This is an ongoing educational event. One of our instructors will be available to help you learn basic skills in 3D Printing. You have heard about 3D printing. This is your chance to see it in action. Learn how to make that replacement plastic part or print something from Thingaverse.
