Experience required? none, this is for new players or those who have only done role play games once or twice.

You push against the wooden door with all your strength, slowly opening it up enough to squeeze past into the great hall. A huge stone room with ancient wooden beams and the smell of damp and decay. It is ice cold, your breath fogs the air in front of you and a chill runs down your spine. There is a large feasting table running the length of the hall running up to a throne with a skeleton still sat on it... a sword through its chest... On the table are a pile of books 📚 you lean over and brush dust off the top one. The title reads 'Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition: Players Handbook'... you know you are in the right place. Suddenly the smell of doritos and red bull wafts through the hall and the skeleton on the throne stands. A wisened voice cracks through the air "I see we have a new gamer, come brethren time to start a new campaign". corpses start to lurch from the shadows and sit at the table, dice in hand they look to you the Kings skeleton addresses you "Well? what is your name and character class?" as you hear the sound of dice hitting the table...

This is for anyone who has never played D&D before or maybe played only once or twice.

Myself and Frank will start with an introduction to D&D and then will help you build characters for a one shot we will be running. The intro and character building* will last an hour to 90 mins and then the rest of the time will be gaming.

Bring with you: a pencil, ipad or phone, your imagination.

*Character building will be an option, but we will also have premade character sheets available for you too to make it easier 😊
