🎨Manga Workshop with Inko: Make your own Manga Character!

Kyoto born, Brighton-based manga artist Inko will come to Shimaguni to lead a one hour manga workshop. The workshop will include a short talk on manga from Inko, a demonstration of character creation, and a chance to draw your own character with the benefit of professional tips. The 60 minute session will runs as follows:

A short introduction to different manga styles

A demonstration of how to draw manga. A volunteer will be used as a model and made into a character.

In a group, we will draw our own versions of a character following agreed restrictions. Inko will provide feedback and tips with suggestions for follow up activities and useful practices.

This one hour workshop in central Brighton costs 10 pounds. To reserve your place at one of the sessions, please pay in advance to Tom Orsman. Please note, if you would like to pay on the day, the cost is 15 pounds. Please email info@shimaguni.co.uk for details for a bank transfer.

There are two identical sessions back to back from 10-11am and from 11:15-12:15am. Please choose which start time suits you best.

まんがワークショップ

英語で行われる1時間のワークショップです！

京都出身、ブライトンをベースに活動なさっている漫画家のInkoさんが島国にてまんがワークショップを開いてくれます。セッションの内容はまんがについての手短な説明、人物キャラクターの描き方のデモンストレーション、そしてInkoさんの指導による自分自身での人物キャラクターの製作です。

60分のセッションは下記のように行われます。
さまざまなタイプのまんがの手短な紹介
まんがのデモンストレーション（参加者の方たちの内一人が人物モデルとして使われます）
いくつかのルールを使い、グループ内でオリジナルのキャラクターを描く
Inkoさんの指導と今後の練習の仕方へのアドバイス

この1時間のまんがワークショップはブライトンの中心部で行われます。英語で行われるため英語を練習したい・英語でコミュニケーションをとりたい方にも最適です。参加費は１０ポンド、Tom Orsmanに事前にお支払いください。予約が確定します。当日会場で支払うことも出来ますが、その場合は１５ポンドかかります。事前予約のための振込み情報については、info@shimaguni.co.ukへメールをお願いします。
