Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) is a very popular way of welcoming spring in Japan.

This event will hopefully provide a chance to recreate some of that feeling of new things beginning.

Brighton has a large range of cherry blossoms, unfortunately mostly in people's gardens.

But there are at least a couple of cherry blossoms in St Ann's Well Park (near Seven Dials, a 15-20 minute walk from Brighton Train Station).

Please bring your own snacks, drinks and either a mat or plastic bag to sit on.
