What we're about

We meet each fortnight to review and critique writing previously sent in by members. There is no standing up and reading out. The group shares pieces (complete stories, parts or sections from novels, ideas or treatments - whatever, as long as it's yours) some days prior to the meetup. We each then read and contemplate the work and discuss it, piece by piece, at the meetup.
We are eclectic and inclusive (with the usual provisos). If you want to be involved contact the organisers. If you're unsure and want to see how it works, come along - contact us and we'll tell you how, with no commitment.
And no cost to anyone, except the wine/beer/whatever you may consume on the night. It's usually a very sociable event also.
We usually meet at a fairly central Brighton Bar, handy for the station if you're out of town, and on Sundays.
This group is particularly useful to writers at any level who want to see if what they are doing works, or to ask fellow writers how they might overcome blocks or stumbling points. Writers tend to write rather than talk. Here you can do the latter, and have a friendly night out with people who understand you.
