Hello Angular stay-homers

In our next meetup, we're going virtual on a Google Hangout. We'll be evaluating solutions to code sharing; Bit.dev shared components, ng-packagr and Nrwl Nx Enterprise Angular Monorepo Patterns. The benefits of each suit different priorities within an organisation.

Bit.dev is a platform that hosts UI components for distribution and collaboration across projects. It hosts Bit components, which are isolated, packed and extracted from their parent repos. Each component is automatically analyzed and packed with all files and dependencies.

Ng-packagr transpiles your libraries to Angular Package Format for deployment to an NPM repo.

A Nrwl Nx Workspace is an Angular CLI project configured to make working with multiple Angular applications and libs within a single repo more reliable. Enterprise Angular Monorepo Patterns are an architectural concept (similar to Domain Driven Development) on top of Nx that promotes better code separation leading to increased code sharing.

Max Mumford and Tom White will be presenting their experiences and talking about the pros and cons of each system. We're looking forward to it, hope you are too.

See you in the Hangout we will. Find a link to it above you shall.
