Meet at Shoreham Railway Station at 11:30am.
Come and join us on a 13 mile countryside bike ride and picnic.
We will ride from Shoreham to Bramber along the Downs Link trail path (firm, flat, off road, next to the river!) and then back via country roads and Shoreham Airport. The way there is flat, flat, flat (!) and there’s just a wee bit of climbing on the return journey.
We have the option of picnicking at Bramber Castle or by the river. However we feel on the day. There are public toilets between the two!
For those who fancy a trip to the pub, there's also the option of going to The King’s Head in Bramber, or, after our pedalling adventure, at The Tap House in Shoreham.
There are frequent trains from Brighton to Shoreham (the 11:02 arrives at 11.15). Or, if you’re on the coast, you can ride along National Cycle Route 2 to meet us.
Bring food, drink and a picnic rug if you choose. Weather appropriate clothes and helmet advisable.
(We’re following Stage 6 backwards there!)
Bike ride 20 miles on the Down's link to the Knepp estate, we will do a wildlife safari before camping the night in the stunning campsite before cycling home the next day. Date not fixed so let me know if interested?https://www.kneppsafaris.co.uk/Stay/Camping
