Ethical eating at its best
I thought it was time to put a vegetarian restaurant on our hit list. I haven't eaten here before. Terre a Terre describes itself thus: "First and foremost it is an establishment that serves outstanding food, and the fact that you won't find meat on the menu is merely secondary". It's reputation for the best vegetarian food is outstanding and Trip Advisor sings it praises. It also caters for vegans. I have booked a table for 6 members on Wednesday 24 October at 7pm and I hope that you can join me. You can read all about it and view sample menus on their website. There is an a la carte menu and a set menu. Some of us may want to share the cost of a bottle or two of wine unless we decide instead to find a pub afterwards. Please pay a deposit of £36 to my meet up account as soon as you RSVP "yes". Ms M Protani[masked] Ref your meet up name/terre If you don't pay the deposit within 2 days of accepting and there is a waitlist, you may be removed so that others can get on to the attendee list. This makes it fair for everyone. If you pay the deposit then find that you can't attend, it will be refunded if someone takes your place and pays the deposit. Please contact the restaurant if you need to discuss any dietary restrictions or access requirements. The telephone number is[masked] East Street runs from North Street to the coast road and there are plenty of buses from east, west and north of Brighton to get you there.

What we're about

Dining with Friends is an established group for people who enjoy eating out. Join us for the opportunity to explore Brighton’s eclectic mix of restaurants and venues, enjoy conversation along with drinks, have fun and hopefully make new friends.

To join the group we request a recent photo, a few words of introduction and your participation in an event. We welcome new members who may live or work here or who join whilst they are on a short visit to Brighton on holiday or for business purposes.

Your suggestions for new dining venues are very welcome, as we are keen to uncover hidden gems.
