NLP for Improving Self-talk and Resolving Internal Conflict
• What we'll do How is your self-talk? How does it affect your confidence level? Gain usable tools in an interactive, fun, interesting and fast-paced workshop. NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a set of tools to aid professional and personal advancement. How is your self-talk? Is it helpful and supportive? Or is there inner conflict? Do you find it easy to make decisions? Do you make the changes you want to make? When we have negative self-talk and internal conflict - arguments inside of us about what we did or should do - the consequence is stress. We don't communicate clearly, we make poor decisions and we feel stuck or bad. In this class, we'll practice specific activities around increasing confidence, resolving inner conflict, improving self-talk, focusing our goals, and knowing how to use language to help. First developed 40 years ago, NLP has grown and spread as a set of practical, learnable, and helpful skills. The roots of NLP are found in humanistic and cognitive psychology, linguistics, systems theory, and solution-focused therapy. Expect learning, laughter, and stories. Expect to have more curiosity about what life is about and more grace in navigating the storms. You must register with PCC, CRN 17228. You can RSVP here, but it won't register you.
