⁉️ Javascript: You Might Not Need It - Sean Goresht
Sean comes to us from Canada to present his (perhaps controversial?) talk about the excessive "need" for JavaScript tools in today's modern dev environments. His talk will broach things such as why we used frameworks to begin with, tools vs frameworks, benchmarking, Pure HTML and CSS replacements for JS, and Vanilla JS code structuring techniques with Proxy (Object.observe), ES2015 classes etc.
⚙️ The Widget Machine - Rebekah Higgins
Rebekah's been working on a cool product for a client using Angular that allows non-developers to rapid prototype "Widgets" with in minutes through configuration files. Through this we get to explore web component concepts and how this approach has been beneficial.
💯 The Regular Top5.JS - Josh Wulf
From this now infamous regular blast of information, July is no different with a quick rundown of what's new and magical in the world of JS.

The upper and lower car parks in Toowong Tower are open until 10:30 at night, leaving plenty of time for you to leave after the event. BrisJS is wheelchair accessible from the taxi rank, car parks and train station, but please note the train station is only wheelchair accessible via the street after the centre closes at 9pm.
