Details
This month's details have been posted really last minute - apologies everyone!! It's often a challenge to wrangle everyone's confirmations and information together. Good news is that we're here with all the details now! Please join us for an awesome upcoming live stream!
š¹ Youtube Livestream of the Virtual Event:
If you RSVP on meetup you'll see the youtube link on this event page (on the right sidebar!), and you can subscribe to the BrisJS youtube channel (https://youtube.com/c/BrisJS/) to get the alert and link of the stream going live š
ā Questions/voting and feedback will be gathered using Slido for Q&A:

I'd be ever so grateful for this wonderful community of ours to get their thinking caps on now and contribute a talk of any length for any of the upcoming meetup monthly events. Your talks keep BrisJS alive!

š Creating an AR application with React Native and ViroMedia - Camilo Buitrago - 20-30m (@cebuitragor)
Virtual reality and augmented reality have had great growth in today's technology market. New apps appear in the app store or play store every day. ViroMedia is an Open Source platform to create AR or VR experiences using React Native in a simple and fast way. With ViroMedia we can run the application on both IOS and Android. Camilo will be introducing the technologies and taking us through how you can get into this space.
š§© How to start coding from scratch - Aleks Kuzmin - 20m (@Alexhappylucky)
As Aleks describes his experience: "It has not been just 5 months since I started leaning coding, it has been an incredible coding journey... but I am really just a beginner." Aleks had always thought that coding is not for him and there would be no way he would start learning and enjoying it - the truth is ultimately far from it! This talk is to reach out to fellow starters/beginners in the field and motivational for those with more experience. Aleks will cover how to start, how to keep motivated, setting coding goals, following industry folks, and finding others to encourage on this journey too!
Lots of opportunity for Q&A through Slido too! Get your thinking caps on and see you on the night!
